Allianz Trade Enhances B2B Payments and Launches New Financial Solutions

Allianz Trade, a global leader in trade credit insurance, has recently introduced several new services and partnerships aimed at strengthening corporate payment flows and managing risks in the global economy.

The company has teamed up with Mastercard to enhance protection over business-to-business payment flows in the travel industry. This collaboration aims to provide credit insurance to issuers leveraging Mastercard Virtual Card Numbers (VCNs), enabling online travel agencies (OTAs) to offer credit terms more securely and reduce their exposure to payment flow risks.

In addition, Allianz Trade has launched new solutions such as "Specialty Credit Social2Social," which supports projects addressing specific social issues. This product protects corporates and financial institutions against non-payment and political risks in projects aiming for positive social impact. The company also presented "Surety Green2Green," a solution designed to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy. This product facilitates investments in low-carbon technologies and renewable energy projects, with collected premiums being invested in green bonds.

The release of economic reports is also a key aspect of Allianz Trade's operations. The company published its "Country Risk Atlas 2026," which assesses the economic outlook and risks across 83 countries. Furthermore, its "Global Insolvency Report" projects an 11% increase in global insolvencies for 2024, driven by sluggish demand and geopolitical tensions. Allianz Trade has also issued guidance for businesses on combating the rising threat of fraudulent invoices and deepened its partnership with TreviPay to enhance B2B risk management.
