Allianz Trade Opens Office in Vietnam
Allianz Trade has expanded its presence in Asia Pacific by opening its first office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to offer trade credit solutions to local exporters.

Allianz Trade, a global leader in trade credit insurance and risk management, has established its first office in Vietnam, located in the economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City. This expansion aims to provide comprehensive trade credit solutions to local exporters.
The move is driven by Vietnam's strong export performance and projected economic growth. The country has demonstrated robust economic development, averaging around 7% growth for three decades prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and around 4.8% between 2020 and 2023. Economic growth reached 7.1% in 2024, boosted by global trade recovery and demand for consumer electronics.
Allianz Research forecasts continued strong growth for Vietnam, with an expected 6.7% in 2025, positioning it as one of the fastest-growing economies in the Asia Pacific region. The company aims to support businesses navigating an evolving global supply chain landscape.
"We are extremely excited to extend our footprint to Vietnam, the thirteenth location in our portfolio," said Rodrigo Jimenez, Regional CEO at Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific. "Vietnam is a relatively open economy with a growth model based on trade, and it has transformed into a competitive manufacturing hub. We want to be there to serve and guide our customers."
