Alma Media appoints members to shareholders' nomination committee

Alma Media has appointed four members to its shareholders' nomination committee: Timo Aukia (Ilkka Plc), Rasmus Skand (Mariatorp Oy), Henrik Ehrnrooth (Otava Ltd), and Rami Vehmas (Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company). These appointments reflect the interests of the company's primary shareholders.

At its initial meeting, the committee elected Henrik Ehrnrooth, chair of the board at Otava, to lead the group. The committee's primary responsibility is to prepare proposals regarding the election of board members and their remuneration for consideration at the upcoming annual general meeting.

The committee will remain in place until the next annual general meeting. Its role is to ensure that board nominations and compensation structures are aligned with shareholder expectations.
