AlphaESS expands energy storage capacity in the Adriatic region

AlphaESS has reinforced its market presence in the Adriatic region by presenting a range of residential, commercial, and utility-scale energy storage solutions at the Green Energy Fair 2026 in Zagreb. The company reported that it has deployed over 300 of its TB125 storage units across Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, totaling more than 80 MWh in combined capacity.

The regional market is currently experiencing growth driven by shifts in energy policy, the expansion of solar power, and the rising necessity for grid flexibility. In Croatia specifically, the firm delivered over 100 units this year, primarily supporting frequency regulation projects to maintain grid stability.

During the exhibition, AlphaESS introduced the STORION-LC-TB150 to the Croatian market. This commercial and industrial unit features liquid cooling and is designed to improve power output and service life compared to previous models. Additionally, the company displayed the Aster 6260, a new solution aimed at large-scale utility infrastructure.

Since entering the European market in 2015, AlphaESS has focused on localized technical support and partnership development. By integrating hardware with its proprietary cloud-based energy management system, the company intends to further support the adoption of battery storage across the region.
