AlphaESS Launches AI Energy Agent AlphaQ in Benelux
Energy solutions provider AlphaESS has introduced its AI-powered energy management system, AlphaQ, to Europe, beginning with the Benelux region. The system aims to optimize home energy consumption.
Energy solutions company AlphaESS has launched AlphaQ, an artificial intelligence-driven energy agent for home energy systems, in Europe. The product was first introduced in the Benelux region through partner events held in Belgium and the Netherlands in September 2026.
AlphaQ is designed to offer homeowners a centralized interface to their energy systems, combining energy analytics, tariff-based energy management, and customer support. The system's AI capabilities predict electricity prices, solar energy generation, and household energy demand to optimize battery charging and discharging schedules. The battery's energy plan is updated every 15 minutes.
Alongside AlphaQ, AlphaESS also presented the VitaPower 3600 AC, an all-in-one home battery system offering 4–16 kWh of modular storage and 3.68 kW of bidirectional AC power. Its AI optimizes charging and discharging based on energy prices, solar, and weather forecasts. Pre-orders for the VitaPower 3600 AC begin in the Netherlands on September 22.
The launch coincides with AlphaESS Benelux's first anniversary. According to company data, AlphaESS held significant market shares in the residential battery energy storage system market in the Benelux region during the first half of 2026, with 29.7% in the Netherlands and 19.5% in Belgium.
