AlphaESS Launches AI Energy Agent AlphaQ in Benelux Region
AlphaESS has introduced AlphaQ, an AI-powered energy agent for home energy systems, in Europe, beginning with partner events in Belgium and the Netherlands. The system integrates energy consumption, tariff-based management, and support services.

AlphaESS has launched AlphaQ, an artificial intelligence-driven energy agent for home energy systems, in Europe. The rollout began with partner events in Belgium on September 16 and in the Netherlands on September 22.
AlphaQ is designed to provide homeowners with a single point of interaction for their home energy system. It integrates energy consumption information, tariff-based energy management, and assistance services onto one platform, with specialized functions operating in the background. The AI mode forecasts electricity prices, solar generation, and household demand to optimize battery charge and discharge, updating energy plans every 15 minutes.
The Q Insight feature aims to help users understand their system's operations and predict future outcomes without needing to interpret complex charts. For dynamic tariffs, the AI mode optimizes energy usage based on predicted prices and generation. In terms of service, AlphaQ utilizes fault logs and real-time system data to facilitate diagnostics, assisting installers in identifying issues and determining next steps more rapidly.
Alongside AlphaQ, AlphaESS is expanding its residential energy offerings in the Benelux with the VitaPower 3600 AC. This all-in-one home battery combines modular storage from 4 to 16 kWh with 3.68 kW of bidirectional AC power and intelligent energy management. The system can be scaled up from an 800W plug-and-play setup to its maximum output. Pre-orders for the VitaPower 3600 AC are scheduled to open in the Netherlands on September 22.
Jeff Noelmans, General Manager of AlphaESS Netherlands, stated that AlphaQ represents the next step in providing automatic, optimal energy outcomes for customers. AlphaESS holds significant market positions in the region, with a 29.7% share of the Dutch residential battery energy storage system market and 19.5% in Belgium during the first half of 2026.
