AlphaESS Launches AlphaQ AI Agent in Benelux
Energy storage solutions provider AlphaESS has introduced its AI agent, AlphaQ, to the European market, starting with the Benelux region. The new solution aims to simplify energy system management for households.
AlphaESS has launched its AI agent, AlphaQ, in the European market, beginning with the Benelux countries. The debut occurred through partner events held in Belgium and the Netherlands in mid-September.
AlphaQ is designed to provide homeowners with a single point of management for their energy systems. The solution consolidates energy information, pricing, and service support, while specialized AI functions operate in the background. The "Q Insight" feature helps users understand system performance without manual data analysis.
For dynamic electricity tariffs, AlphaQ predicts energy prices, solar generation, and household demand to optimize charging and discharging from battery storage. The energy utilization plan is updated every 15 minutes. In terms of service, the agent uses error logs and current system data to assist with diagnostics, helping installers identify and resolve issues more quickly.
AlphaESS is also expanding its household energy solutions in the Benelux region with the VitaPower 3600 AC energy storage system. This system offers modular capacity from 4 to 16 kWh and 3.68 kW of bidirectional AC power, enabling homeowners to better utilize their solar energy. Pre-sales for the VitaPower 3600 AC in the Netherlands began in late September.
Jeff Noelmans, Managing Director of AlphaESS Benelux, stated that AlphaQ represents a concrete step in the company's strategy to leverage AI for energy optimization. According to market analysis, AlphaESS held a 29.7% market share for residential energy storage systems in the Netherlands and 19.5% in Belgium during the first half of 2026.
