Alpine, the sports car brand under the Renault Group, revealed its A110 FUTURE prototype at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK on July 9. This prototype serves as a platform for testing various new technologies ahead of the production of the third-generation Alpine A110.

The A110 FUTURE is based on the Alpine Performance Platform and aims to validate key features intended for a future all-electric version of the A110. With this model, Alpine seeks to strengthen its position in the electric performance vehicle market.

The prototype features an advanced aluminum architecture and utilizes an 800-volt battery system. The placement of front and rear battery packs is designed for optimal mass distribution (40:60) and energy distribution (25:75). The powertrain includes Alpine's Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 system, with two integrated tri-phase motors on the rear axle complemented by SiC inverters.

Technically, the A110 FUTURE is equipped with an all-aluminum suspension. The system enhances driving dynamics through active torque vectoring and wheel slip torque control, aimed at improving grip and responsiveness. Through these features, Alpine intends to ensure its future electric vehicle delivers a sporty driving experience.
