Alstom and OKG AB sign five-year service contract for Oskarshamn nuclear power plant turbines
Alstom and OKG AB have signed a five-year service contract for the turbine facilities at the Oskarshamn nuclear power plant. The agreement covers annual service, including inspection and commissioning of steam turbines and generators.

The agreement covers annual service, including the inspection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators, and associated auxiliary systems for Oskarshamn 1, 3, and partially 2. These services will be performed during planned maintenance outages.
Alstom will also provide a local service team on-site at the plant to support OKG personnel with component maintenance during operational periods. Johan Svenningsson, CEO of OKG AB, stated that the contract represents a significant step for OKG in its long-term strategy for competence assurance and process development, expressing anticipation for close collaboration with Alstom to ensure safe production and high availability.
The service contract will be managed by Alstom's operations in Norrköping and Västerås. Mats Andersson, CEO of Alstom Power Sweden AB, emphasized the importance of such contracts for Alstom and its nuclear power clients, noting they offer opportunities to strengthen cooperation and deepen expertise in the Swedish nuclear sector.
