Consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Danny Van D’huynslager as a Managing Director to bolster its post-deal transformation capabilities for private equity clients in Europe.
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Danny Van D’huynslager as a Managing Director. He joins the firm’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice, focusing on post-deal transformation and interim management.
Based in A&M’s Brussels office, Van D’huynslager brings nearly three decades of experience from C-suite roles and consulting. He will support clients across the Benelux region and wider Europe.
The appointment reflects A&M’s ongoing investment in its European PEPI practice, aiming to attract senior operators with hands-on experience in driving significant business change. Van D’huynslager has previously served as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
His career includes reshaping businesses, improving commercial performance, and implementing change within decentralized organizations. He has experience in redesigning operating models, integrating businesses post-transaction, and enhancing pricing, margins, and management discipline. His work emphasizes data-driven performance management and the adoption of digital and AI-enabled transformations.
At A&M, Van D’huynslager will work with private equity firms and their portfolio company management teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable programs that enhance business performance. His dual experience as an advisor and senior executive is expected to benefit A&M's European clients navigating periods of significant change.
