Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Digital Transformation Leader for Life Sciences

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a global professional services firm, has appointed Arpita Singhal as a Managing Director to head its digital transformation and innovation services within the Life Sciences division in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. She will be based in London.

Singhal's role will involve developing and accelerating large-scale digital transformation programs for companies in the life sciences sector. Her focus is on driving business value through technology-enabled performance improvement, process enhancement, and operational excellence. Previously, Singhal was Managing Partner and Head of UK Business at Tenthpin, a boutique consultancy, and held senior positions at Boston Consulting Group and EY.

Jean Laurent Poitou, Managing Director and A&M's Head of Digital in EMEA, stated that Singhal's appointment is a significant development for the firm's digital offerings in the region. Raymond Berglund, Managing Director and Head of A&M’s EMEA Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, highlighted the critical role of technology in enhancing agility within the life sciences sector, especially following recent global events.
