Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Bhalindra Singh as Managing Director to enhance its business transformation capabilities for the automotive sector in India.
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Bhalindra Singh as a Managing Director within its Business Transformation Services practice in India. Based in New Delhi, Singh will focus on large-scale transformations for automotive clients, with an emphasis on cost transformation across design-to-value and procurement excellence.
Singh brings over 17 years of experience in management consulting and the technology sectors. He has advised clients across various segments of the automotive industry, including two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and related equipment manufacturers. Notably, he led a two-year cost excellence program for a major Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, achieving over 10% reduction in bill of materials costs.
Prior to joining A&M, Singh spent more than 13 years at McKinsey & Company, where he most recently served as an Associate Partner. His appointment comes as the Indian automotive sector navigates significant shifts in technology, supply chains, and cost structures, while pursuing growth objectives. A&M aims to support clients through these challenges.
