Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is expanding its European Corporate Finance practice with the appointments of Barbara MG Ronconi as Managing Director in Milan, Italy, and Frédéric Meyer as Managing Director in Paris, France. These appointments are part of the firm's broader European growth strategy.
Barbara MG Ronconi will lead the recently established Corporate Finance practice in Milan alongside Managing Director Maximiliano Turelli. With over 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, Ronconi specializes in transactions within the consumer, retail, and luxury sectors. Her expertise is expected to drive the development of the mid-market segment.
Frédéric Meyer joins A&M's Paris office, strengthening the corporate finance team. Meyer is a specialist in mid-market mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on the healthcare and life sciences sectors. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising companies and private equity firms on M&A services.
The senior appointments are part of A&M's continued European expansion efforts in 2025. The firm has made several strategic hires across its eight offices spanning five regions this year, aiming to enhance its capabilities and client service in corporate finance advisory.
