Alvarez & Marsal Expands French Operations with Senior Hires
Alvarez & Marsal has hired four individuals, including Olivier Chatin as Managing Director, to its Paris office, aiming to bolster its restructuring and performance improvement services in France and Europe.
Paris – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its French capabilities with the addition of four professionals to its Paris office. Olivier Chatin joins as Managing Director, accompanied by Senior Director Etienne Leduc, Director Paul Lefaivre, and Senior Associate Pierre-Arthur Chatard. These appointments are intended to enhance A&M's service offerings in restructuring and performance improvement for clients across France and Europe.
The new hires bring a range of experience relevant to corporate turnarounds and transformations. Chatin previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Software at BearingPoint Group, where he managed the buyout of European activities and contributed to a significant profitability improvement following the parent company's bankruptcy. His background also includes a partnership at Arthur Andersen.
Etienne Leduc comes to A&M with over 20 years of experience in financial transformation, including leading pan-European transformation programs, particularly for companies in the consumer, retail, and manufacturing sectors. Paul Lefaivre adds over 15 years of operational, financial, and restructuring expertise, having founded a consulting firm and held positions in investment banking and transformation consulting.
Pierre-Arthur Chatard brings specialized knowledge in the health and telecommunications sectors, with prior experience at Roland Berger and Ernst & Young. Tarek Hosni, head of Alvarez & Marsal France, stated that the new team members' extensive experience will add significant value to the firm's client services in France and across Europe.
