Alvarez & Marsal Expands Nordic and French Transaction Advisory Services
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has established a new presence in Denmark with Kathryn Jörgensen as its first Managing Director, and appointed Mike Eledjam as Managing Director in France, strengthening its EMEA transaction advisory capabilities.

Professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its Nordic footprint by establishing a new contingent in Denmark, appointing Kathryn Jörgensen as the practice’s first Managing Director in the country, based in Copenhagen.
The expansion aims to bolster A&M’s presence in the Nordic market and enhance its service offerings for regional clients. Ms. Jörgensen joins A&M from KPMG, where she spent 16 years advising on buy-side due diligence, integration, separation, and sell-side execution across various sectors.
Simultaneously, A&M has strengthened its French operations by appointing Mike Eledjam as Managing Director. Mr. Eledjam brings nearly two decades of experience from PwC in France, where he supported corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Paul Aversano, Managing Director and Global Practice Leader of A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group, stated that these appointments are part of the firm’s strategy to build senior talent within the EMEA region and globally. He emphasized that Ms. Jörgensen’s and Mr. Eledjam’s expertise will assist clients in navigating complex transactions and mitigating risks in a volatile market.
