Alvarez & Marsal Hires First Corporate Finance Managing Director in Birmingham
Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Andy Moody as its first Corporate Finance Managing Director in Birmingham, bolstering its growing transaction advisory services in the Midlands.
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its Corporate Finance practice in the UK and EMEA with the appointment of Andy Moody as its first Corporate Finance Managing Director in Birmingham. Moody will lead the growth of A&M's Corporate Finance practice across the Midlands, with a focus on mid-market companies.
Moody brings over 18 years of corporate finance experience, having advised on a range of mid-market transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and financing. He previously held roles at Deloitte and EY, where he most recently served as Director focusing on M&A for Midlands-based private, family-owned businesses, and private equity firms.
"We are seeing significant pent-up demand in the M&A market across the UK following a more difficult dealmaking environment over the past 18 months. We anticipate a surge of activity, particularly in the mid-market, in the coming months," said Andy Moody.
Alvarez & Marsal plans further expansion of the team with multiple new hires expected. The firm aims to provide local support to businesses in the Midlands region.
