Alvarez & Marsal Launches Public Company Advisory Team, Hires Senior Director
Alvarez & Marsal has launched a new Public Company Advisory group and hired Jamie Peel as Senior Director in Manchester to bolster its services for mid-market companies.
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has established a new Public Company Advisory group within its Corporate Finance practice. The firm has also appointed Jamie Peel as Senior Director in Manchester to lead the initiative.
The new team will focus on serving mid-market companies, addressing what A&M identifies as a gap in independent advisory services for publicly listed entities. Peel is the first member of the new group, with further senior hires anticipated.
Peel joins A&M from PwC, where he served as a Director in the M&A team. He brings over 13 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking, having advised clients on IPOs, public M&A, and capital raising.
Alvarez & Marsal's Corporate Finance practice globally comprises 260 professionals across 20 countries. Jonathan Boyers, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance EMEA, stated that the launch is a significant milestone for the practice's growth and that Peel's expertise will be instrumental in expanding the firm's global capability.
