Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a global professional services firm, has announced the launch of its Reputation Advisory offering. This new practice aims to assist organizations in preserving value and maintaining control during periods of intense scrutiny. It will engage with corporate stakeholders on critical mandates, identify and mitigate reputational risks, and provide crisis counsel.

The new practice will be led by a dedicated team of senior reputation advisors based in London. This team will collaborate closely with A&M's existing Restructuring, Disputes, Transactions, and Transformation advisory practices. Their focus will be on supporting clients navigating change, disruption, and complex stakeholder environments.

Rob Mindell has been appointed as a Managing Director to lead the build-out of the practice. Mindell is recognized for his expertise in media and strategic communications, having advised boards and executives on major restructurings, litigation, crises, and M&A transactions exceeding £25 billion. He joins A&M from FTI Consulting.

The firm has also expanded its team with new hires including Balihar Khalsa, former Senior Director of Corporate Communications at ITN, and Rupert Bhatia, a former senior broadcast journalist at the BBC and LBC. Additionally, the practice will be supported by senior advisors such as Oliver Shah, former Business Editor and Associate Editor at The Sunday Times, and Matt Warman, former UK Minister of State for Digital Infrastructure and Media.
