The organization also highlighted the milestone of its Board Chairman, Dr. Michael Lorrain, personally delivering the one millionth informational brochure to a recipient. This gesture underscores AFI's commitment to providing accessible information and support for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Furthermore, AFI recognized long-term supporter Dieter Schellschmidt on his 90th birthday, noting his sustained dedication to Alzheimer's research. His birthday celebration included a donation of 1,000 euros specifically for research efforts.
