Alzheimer Research Initiative Releases New Media Assets

The Alzheimer Research Initiative (AFI) has updated its press section with a range of new photographic and video materials, offering them for free use to media outlets, lecturers, and online publications. These assets aim to provide visual resources for disseminating information about Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

The initiative specifies that while the materials are available at no cost for journalistic and educational purposes, commercial use is discouraged. Users are requested to provide a copy or link of their publication featuring the materials to presse@alzheimer-forschung.de. AFI also offers brochure covers upon request.

The newly released content includes infographics detailing various forms of dementia, the biological mechanisms behind Alzheimer's, such as plaque formation, and potential preventative measures like vaccinations. Additionally, a collection of photographs depicts life in retirement homes and interactions among residents, along with images of AFI ambassadors, like Okka Gundel.

AFI focuses on funding research into Alzheimer's disease and raising public awareness. The newly available media assets can be downloaded directly from the website, with options for bulk downloads of image sets for broader dissemination.
