AM General Showcases New Military Vehicles at AUSA Annual Meeting
AM General is displaying next-generation HUMVEE vehicles, an autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV), and updated JLTV A2 platforms at the AUSA Annual Meeting.

Defense vehicle manufacturer AM General is set to exhibit new technologies and vehicle upgrades at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition. The event is scheduled for October 12–14, 2026, in Washington.
The company will feature a redesigned HUMVEE platform for the next generation, a fully autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) incorporating advanced AI technology, and the JLTV A2 vehicle integrated with the latest drone and counter-drone systems.
The UGV includes the XTEND NEST system, enabling the vehicle to carry an aerial system and establish a mobile launch point closer to operational needs without direct soldier exposure. The JLTV A2 will feature enhanced lethality and counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities from Rafael Systems Global Sustainment (RSGS).
The redesigned next-generation HUMVEE boasts improved performance with a new 250 hp Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) engine. AM General plans a phased production start for these new vehicles beginning in late 2027.
"This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our evolving capabilities to our longstanding customer, the U.S. Army, and how we are adapting to the speed of change on the modern battlefield," said AM General President and CEO John Chadbourne.
