Travel technology provider Amadeus has expanded its partnership with Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific. The expanded agreement will see Cathay Pacific utilize Amadeus technologies to enhance its retail capabilities and provide customers with greater flexibility and choice.
As part of its ongoing digital transformation, Cathay Pacific will continue to use Amadeus' technologies for revenue accounting and passenger recovery. The expanded partnership also includes continued collaboration to make Cathay Pacific's NDC-sourced content available to travel sellers globally.
Through Amadeus Altéa NDC, Cathay Pacific will be developing a differentiated experience for its travelers. The system enables efficient distribution and servicing of airline offers to third parties, ensuring consistency across direct and indirect channels.
The airline will also continue to use the Amadeus Altéa Passenger Service System (PSS). This system manages reservations, inventory, ticketing, and departure control to facilitate passenger journeys across its extensive global network.
