Amadeus and Chargebacks 911 partner on airline dispute management
Amadeus has partnered with Chargebacks 911 to offer airlines an automated service to manage a rise in payment disputes.

Amadeus IT Group has launched Amadeus Chargeback Management, a service developed in conjunction with Chargebacks 911, to help airlines manage an increase in payment disputes.
The service uses Amadeus's travel and payment data combined with Chargebacks 911's expertise to automate responses to individual disputes. This aims to reduce fraudulent claims and lower operational costs.
The travel industry has experienced a surge in chargebacks, with one in eight disputes now related to travel purchases, following pandemic-related disruptions.
Through the Amadeus Xchange Payment Platform (XPP), airlines gain a detailed overview of disputes. The platform aims to be a comprehensive payment solution, incorporating additional fintech services.
