Amadeus and S7 Airlines sign partnership agreement
Amadeus IT Group and Russia's second-largest airline, S7 Airlines, have signed an agreement for the full suite of Amadeus Altéa passenger service system (PSS) solutions.

Amadeus IT Group and Russian airline S7 Airlines have entered into a significant partnership agreement. Under the terms of the deal, S7 Airlines will adopt the complete Amadeus Altéa Passenger Service System (PSS) suite, encompassing reservations, inventory, ticketing, and departure control capabilities.
S7 Airlines, the second-largest carrier in Russia, anticipates that the implementation of the Altéa system will enhance and optimize its internal operational processes. The airline also expects the technology to facilitate a new approach to travel planning for its passengers. Tatyana Fileva, First Deputy CEO of S7 Group, stated that the transition to Amadeus Altéa will enable the optimization of all business processes related to air ticket issuance and passenger registration, while also automating manual operations.
Amadeus highlighted that the benefits of the Altéa suite extend beyond airline operations. By joining the Altéa community, S7 Airlines aims to deliver improved customer service across its sales and airport environments. This move is expected to lead to a better travel experience for passengers.
As of the first half of 2018, Amadeus reported that over 200 customers have contracts for one of its Passenger Service Systems, either Altéa or Navitaire New Skies, underscoring its significant presence in the global airline technology market.
