Amadeus and Taxera partner for worldwide e-invoicing
Amadeus IT Group has partnered with Taxera Technologies to deliver automated e-invoicing technology to travel sellers globally. The solution aims to streamline back-office processes and reallocate resources toward commercial activities.
Travel technology provider Amadeus has entered into a partnership with Taxera Technologies, a global tax compliance platform. This collaboration will make e-invoicing technology available to travel sellers worldwide, aiming to streamline, secure, and automate back-office procedures.
The solution is expected to become increasingly valuable as e-invoicing mandates grow globally and within the EU's "VAT in the Digital Age" (ViDA) plans. Travel sellers using Amadeus Agency Manager and Amadeus Gestour will be able to reallocate time spent on administrative tasks to focus on commercial priorities.
"The partnership between our organization and Amadeus will allow customers to benefit from an integration between two state-of-the-art companies, each a specialist in its own area of operations," said Paul Antunes, Managing Partner at Taxera. "Moving forward, there will be fewer worries about e-invoice reporting, validation or formats for travel sellers."
As governments worldwide implement stricter digital tax compliance requirements, such as the EU's ViDA initiative, the integration with Taxera's platform will provide a standardized data feed. This ensures travel sellers can supply necessary information to various governmental schemes, guaranteeing the delivery of secure and validated sales documents.
