Amadeus Appoints Freddy Friedman to Lead travel audience
Amadeus has appointed Freddy Friedman, a digital technology leader with over 15 years of experience, as the Managing Director of its data-driven travel advertising company, travel audience.

Amadeus IT Group announced the appointment of Freddy Friedman as the new Managing Director for travel audience, its data-driven advertising arm. Friedman brings over 15 years of experience in leading teams, strategy, and product development within the digital sector.
Friedman's most recent role was Chief Product Officer at Smaato, where he was responsible for global product strategy. In his new capacity at Amadeus, he will focus on driving growth for travel audience, a platform connecting performance-oriented advertisers with publishers to reach travelers.
Prior to Smaato, Friedman held senior positions at other ad tech companies, including Glispa as Chief Product Officer and Amobee as Senior Director. His background includes establishing ad tech strategies and overseeing mergers and acquisitions.
Stefan Ropers, President of Strategic Growth Businesses at Amadeus, stated that Friedman's expertise in advertising technology, data, and digital media will be crucial. Ropers highlighted that travel audience has significant potential for destination management organizations, online travel agencies, and travel brands, and Friedman's leadership will support Amadeus's goal of placing the traveler at the center of its technology.
