Amadeus invests in hivr.ai to boost hotel AI solutions
Travel technology company Amadeus has made a minority investment in German firm hivr.ai, which offers AI solutions for the hospitality sector. The move aims to automate and enhance sales processes for meetings and groups.

Amadeus, a global travel technology firm, announced a minority investment in hivr.ai through its Amadeus Ventures program. Hivr.ai, a scale-up founded in 2019, specializes in consolidating and automating meeting and group sales across various distribution channels for hotels.
The technology aims to streamline sales processes, shorten sales cycles, and significantly increase revenue from meetings and groups, a segment accounting for over a third of global room nights. Currently, the sales process for these bookings is often manual, leading to slow response times and a low conversion rate.
Hivr.ai's AI-driven solutions automate tasks such as data entry, availability checks, and follow-up communications. This allows hotel sales teams to focus on customer engagement rather than administrative work, improving the experience for meeting planners and increasing conversion chances for hotels.
Amadeus is also exploring commercial collaborations to integrate hivr.ai's technology with its Delphi sales and catering solution and complement its MeetingBroker product. This integration is expected to offer hoteliers expanded channels, new connectivity options, and AI-powered automation.
The investment aligns with Amadeus' strategy to provide customers with innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Hivr.ai was founded in 2020 by former Expedia executives and is headquartered in Germany.
