Amadeus IT Group resumes dividend payments after four-year pause
Shareholders at the annual general meeting approved a dividend of €0.74 per share, marking the company’s first payout since 2019.
Amadeus IT Group shareholders approved a final dividend of €0.74 per share during the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) on June 21, 2023. This distribution follows a four-year suspension of dividend payments, with the payout scheduled to reach investors on July 13, 2023.
The dividend distribution totals €333.4 million, representing roughly 50% of the company's €664 million consolidated profit for the 2022 financial year. The approval signals a return to the company’s pre-pandemic capital allocation policy.
In addition to the financial distribution, the AGM ratified the annual accounts for the previous fiscal year and re-elected several board members. The company also appointed Frits Dirk van Paasschen as an independent director, succeeding Francesco Loredan for a three-year term.
