Amadeus Launches ENABLE Community to Support Employees with Disabilities

Amadeus IT Group has launched ENABLE, an employee-led community intended to support colleagues with visible and non-visible disabilities, chronic illnesses, chronic pain, and neurodiversity, along with their allies, across all global Amadeus locations.

"Disability is part of the human experience, and many of us will face it throughout our lives due to age, illness, or accident," stated Gaëlle Bristiel, Executive Vice President Engineering, Travel Distribution at Amadeus. "Disability inclusion is deeply personal for me, and that's why we wanted to create this support."

The community's objective is to empower, support, and foster an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive both personally and professionally. ENABLE aims to raise awareness and challenge stigma surrounding disabilities, welcoming anyone who wishes to support the accessibility journey.

Amadeus emphasizes that innovation and progress are only possible when everyone is empowered to contribute. The company has several global initiatives in this area, including a long-standing disability program in France, partnerships with NGOs in India, and efforts in digital accessibility. Amadeus also recently hosted a Global Disability Inclusion Week featuring expert panels, workshops, and personal storytelling.
