Amadeus, Microsoft Extend Partnership for Travel Industry Innovation
Amadeus IT Group and Microsoft have renewed their strategic partnership, focusing on leveraging cloud and AI technologies to advance product development in the travel industry.

Amadeus IT Group has extended its strategic collaboration with technology firm Microsoft. The renewed partnership aims to accelerate Amadeus' cloud migration and the delivery of new, innovative travel products by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI).
As part of the agreement, the companies will deepen their work on AI solutions. Amadeus reports that over 50% of its applications have already been migrated to the public cloud. The company has been actively testing and adopting Microsoft's technologies for innovation.
New AI-powered solutions are being developed for various sectors within the travel industry. For corporate travel, the Cytric Easy booking and expense management tool, integrated into Microsoft Teams, will be enhanced with a conversational AI experience. Airport operations are being digitized through Amadeus' Virtual Airport Operations Centre, and the Amadeus Advisor tool for hotels uses AI to analyze business intelligence data via a chatbot interface.
Amadeus has also adopted Microsoft 365 Copilot internally, reporting increased employee productivity. The collaboration between Amadeus and Microsoft began in 2021.
