Amadeus Reports H1 2026 Financial Results

Amadeus IT Group has released its financial results for the first half of 2026, showcasing the company's ability to maintain a steady performance amid a challenging operating environment. Group revenue saw a 2.3% increase, reaching €3,334.9 million, while operating income grew by 0.6% to €943.2 million.

The geopolitical situation in the Middle East has impacted global air traffic since the beginning of 2026, moderating growth expectations. However, Amadeus's diversified business model provided resilience against volume impacts. On a constant currency basis, revenue increased by 5.1%, adjusted EBIT by 4.9%, and adjusted diluted EPS by 7.3%.

The Air IT Solutions segment reported an 8.7% revenue expansion in constant currency, driven by incremental solutions adopted by customers and performance in airport IT and professional services. The Hospitality and Other Solutions (HOS) segment also grew by 9.2%, fueled by new customer implementations and increased transaction volumes in hospitality and payments.

Revenue in the Air Distribution segment grew by 1.1%, but volumes contracted by 3.7% in the six-month period due to disruptions and cancellations from March onwards. The company completed its €500 million share repurchase program announced in February 2026. Amadeus also continues progress on its intention to acquire IDEMIA Public Security (IPS) and is focused on embedding AI capabilities across its portfolio.
