Travel technology firm Amadeus reported solid first-quarter 2026 performance, with revenue up 3.1% and adjusted operating income increasing by 6.6% in constant currency.

Amadeus Reports Solid Q1 2026 Growth Driven by New Contracts

Amadeus IT Group has announced a solid start to 2026, reporting a 3.1% increase in group revenue for the first quarter to €1,682.6 million. In constant currency, this represents a 7.9% growth. Operating income grew 2.8% to €474.9 million, while adjusted EBIT rose 6.6% in constant currency.

Adjusted diluted earnings per share (EPS) saw an increase of 8.8% in constant currency. The company also reported a 4.5% rise in free cash flow, reaching €273.6 million. Net financial debt stood at €2,586.0 million as of March 31, 2026.

Despite a moderation in growth in March due to geopolitical events in the Middle East, Amadeus highlighted strong commercial momentum. CEO Luis Maroto stated that the company expects to meet its 2026 financial guidance, while acknowledging the uncertainty of the broader macroeconomic context.

The Air IT Solutions segment experienced revenue growth of 7.5% (12.0% in constant currency), driven by an increase in passengers boarded and higher revenue per passenger. Hospitality and Other Solutions revenue grew 3.2% (9.8% in constant currency) due to new customer implementations and increased transactions. Air Distribution revenue saw a marginal increase of 0.1% (4.6% in constant currency), impacted by booking cancellations in March.
