Amap and Sands China Deploy Robot Guides at Resort
Amap and Sands China have delivered the first Tutu robot dogs to Sands Resorts Macau. The robots feature indoor navigation and will assist resort visitors.

Technology firm Amap and hospitality group Sands China have commenced operations with the first delivery of Tutu robot dogs to Sands Resorts Macau.
At a ceremony held at NBA House within The Venetian in Macau, the robots demonstrated their autonomous navigation capabilities around obstacles. Amap will provide the indoor navigation system for the robots, utilizing data on floor plans, walkways, and facilities.
Amap will also develop 3D models of selected resort areas using its spatial intelligence technology. These models will allow visitors to preview areas within the Amap app before their arrival. The robots are expected to enhance the visitor experience by making it more convenient and welcoming.
The collaboration aims to advance the deployment of artificial intelligence in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Both Amap and Sands China plan to further refine the robots' functionalities and services for resort environments.
