Amap Launches No-Code AI Agent Platform for Location Services
Amap Platform has launched Qianyu, integrating its location and mapping capabilities into standardized agent tools. Developers can now deploy AI agents using natural language prompts, without requiring any coding.

Amap Platform has launched Qianyu, an open spatial intelligence platform that integrates its location and mapping capabilities into standardized agent tools. The new platform allows developers and enterprises to deploy AI agents through natural language prompts, eliminating the need for coding.
The announcement was made at the 2026 Apsara Conference in Hangzhou. Amap Platform demonstrated applications of spatial intelligence in two-wheel mobility, AIoT devices, and overseas services.
Cui Yong, General Manager of Amap Platform, stated that the company has transformed spatial intelligence into ready-to-use agents for developers and enterprises. This enables AI to not only understand space and its changes but also to support decision-making for real-world businesses.
The Qianyu platform is structured around a 'Point-Line-Plane-Dynamic' framework, integrating Points of Interest (POI), roads, buildings, regions, and time-series data into a machine-readable spatial system. The platform includes an extensive database of geographic data, featuring over 80 million POIs and more than 5 million kilometers of road networks.
With Qianyu, users can provide natural language commands, and the agent will gather information and provide traceable recommendations. The company states this significantly accelerates tasks such as store location selection or demand analysis, which traditionally took days to complete.
