Amaroq Minerals becomes Greenland's largest licence holder

Amaroq Minerals Ltd. announced in October 2023 that it had become the largest holder of mineral exploration licences in Greenland. This expansion significantly increased the company's landholdings, solidifying its strategic position for exploring the region's mineral potential.

The move aligns with Amaroq's strategy to capitalize on Greenland's mineral resources, with a particular focus on gold and other precious metals. The company had previously reported positive drilling results from its Nalunaq project, achieving record gold grades.

This expansion of its licence area coincides with crucial operational advancements, including the securing of key contracts for the Nalunaq project. Amaroq entered into agreements with Thyssen Schachtbau and Tamarack Mining Services to support the development of the mine.

Amaroq Minerals has been active in strengthening its market presence, including commencing trading on the Nasdaq Main Market in Iceland in September 2023. This listing enhances the company's visibility and access to capital markets as it progresses its exploration and development activities in Greenland.
