Amazon enters digital photo frame market with Alexa-integrated device
Amazon has launched the Alexa Photo Frame, a dedicated display device priced starting at $199.99 that integrates voice-command functionality.

Amazon has expanded its hardware lineup with the release of the Alexa Photo Frame, a device designed specifically for image display. Unlike the company’s Echo Show series, which serves as a multipurpose smart home hub, the new hardware focuses exclusively on showcasing photography without displaying advertisements.
The device incorporates built-in smart speaker capabilities, allowing users to interact with Alexa via voice commands, including the ability to append voice notes to specific photos. This hardware marks Amazon’s formal entry into the digital frame market, placing the company in direct competition with established brands like Aura.
The base model, featuring a black finish, is available for $199.99. Consumers may also select premium birch or walnut frame finishes at a price point of $229. The product is available for purchase effective immediately.
