Amazon Expands Quick Delivery to Over 120 Indian Cities
Amazon has expanded its quick delivery service, Amazon Now, to over 120 cities across India. This expansion doubles the service's reach within two weeks, ahead of the festive season.

Amazon has significantly expanded its quick delivery service, Amazon Now, to encompass more than 120 cities throughout India. The move, which effectively doubles the service's footprint in just two weeks, comes as the company prepares for the upcoming festive season.
The service, originally launched in India in June of last year, is now available in a wider array of locations, including cities such as Amritsar, Jalandhar, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, and Visakhapatnam. This broad expansion aims to reach a larger customer base across the country.
Amazon Now offers a wide range of products, including groceries, fresh produce, frozen foods, personal care items, fashion and beauty products, small appliances, and home and kitchen goods. Orders are fulfilled through a network of nearly 800 micro-fulfillment and urban fulfillment centers, designed to facilitate rapid delivery.
This strategic expansion is seen as a move to bolster Amazon's position in India's rapidly growing e-commerce and rapid delivery market, anticipating increased consumer demand during the peak shopping period.
