Amazon Prime Day to Debut in Singapore in July
Amazon's annual Prime Day shopping event will take place on July 16. The event is available to Singaporean Prime members for the first time.
Amazon has announced its annual Prime Day shopping event will commence on Monday, July 16. The event will run for a total of 36 hours, concluding on Tuesday, July 17.
Notably, Prime Day will be accessible to Singaporean Prime members for the first time. Customers in Singapore will join members from numerous other countries in accessing deals across a wide array of categories, from kitchen and grocery items to automotive and electronics.
In Singapore, Prime members can avail of free two-hour delivery via the Prime Now app for orders above S$40. Additionally, free international shipping is offered on over seven million items for orders exceeding S$60. Members also gain access to Amazon Prime Video and Twitch Prime.
Henry Low, Director of Operations at Amazon Singapore, stated that the announcement is exciting for new local customers. He emphasized that Amazon continues to expand its selection and benefits in Singapore, encouraged by positive customer feedback.
