Amazon has lowered the price of its 4K-ready streaming sticks, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K Plus. The devices feature a redesigned software interface intended to make finding new content easier.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max, described by Amazon as its fastest and most feature-packed stick, is available for $34.99, a $25 reduction from its typical price. The Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is on sale for $24.99, also $25 off. Both deals are available at retailers including Best Buy and Target.

Key differences between the two models include the 4K Max offering double the internal storage at 16GB and supporting Wi-Fi 6E, compared to the Plus model's Wi-Fi 6. The 4K Max is also the only stick to support the Fire TV Ambient Experience, which transforms the TV into a smart display for artwork or widgets when not actively streaming.

Both devices support Dolby Vision, HDR10 Plus, and Dolby Atmos audio. They run Amazon's updated Fire TV interface, which aggregates recommendations across streaming subscriptions and organizes content into hubs for TV shows and sports. Deep Alexa integration allows users to launch content, control smart home devices, or view Ring camera feeds via voice command.
