Packaging manufacturer Amcor reported a 7% increase in net sales to $6,129 million for the quarter ending September 30, 2026. GAAP net income for the period stood at $242 million, while diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached $0.52.

CEO Peter Konieczny noted a 1% organic volume growth across the business, particularly in categories such as pet food, foodservice, and beauty and wellness. The company continues to implement synergies related to its acquisition of Berry, targeting $650 million in total savings over a three-year window.

Despite the revenue gains, Amcor faced challenges late in the quarter due to rising energy and distribution costs. Management stated that initiatives are already underway to mitigate these inflationary impacts and expects these costs to have no material effect on the company's 2027 performance.

Free cash flow was significantly impacted by working capital shifts resulting from resin price volatility, which the company attributed to the conflict in the Middle East. Despite these pressures, the board declared a quarterly cash dividend of 66 cents per share.
