AMD Medusa Point APU performance surfaces in Geekbench 7

Benchmark entries reveal technical specifications for AMD's upcoming Medusa Point mobile processor, featuring a hybrid core architecture.

6 November 2026

A forthcoming AMD mobile processor, known as Medusa Point, has appeared in the Geekbench 7 performance database. Testing on a Lenovo system recorded single-core performance of 1,560 points and multi-core performance of 11,575 points.

The engineering sample, identified as 100-000001713-32_Y, utilizes a hybrid architecture featuring four Zen 6 performance cores and six Zen 6c efficiency cores, totaling 20 threads. Technical documentation from the benchmark indicates the chip includes 16MB of shared L3 cache and supports AVX-512 and other instruction sets designed to accelerate AI inference and high-performance computing tasks.

The system was tested with 55.58GB of quad-channel DDR5 memory operating at 5,188MT/s. While multiple iterations of the Medusa Point series have been identified in benchmark logs, these latest figures provide the clearest indication to date of the chip's computational profile as AMD prepares its next-generation mobile silicon.
