American Bitcoin reports third-quarter 2026 financial results
American Bitcoin Corp. grew its digital asset reserves in the third quarter as increased seasonal power costs weighed on mining margins.

American Bitcoin Corp. (Nasdaq: ABTC) reported financial results for the third quarter of 2026, disclosing a net income of $126 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $221 million. The company expanded its strategic bitcoin holdings to approximately 8,427 units by the end of the quarter, marking a 5% increase from the previous period.
Mining revenue for the quarter reached $63.4 million, down from $67 million in the second quarter. The cost to mine each bitcoin rose to approximately $42,100, largely attributed to seasonal fluctuations in energy costs. Consequently, the company's gross margin compressed to 41%, down from 49% in the prior quarter.
CEO Mike Ho stated that the company remains focused on capital allocation strategies that drive bitcoin-per-share growth without dilutive share issuances. As of the end of the third quarter, the company operated a fleet of 89,242 miners with a total capacity of 28.1 EH/s. Executives indicated that the firm aims to leverage its position at the intersection of energy infrastructure and digital assets to navigate shifting market cycles.
