American Pacific Commences 15,000-Metre Drill Program in Montana

American Pacific Mining Corp. has commenced a significant 15,000-metre drill program at its Madison Copper-Gold Project located in Montana, United States. The initiative aims to explore both near-surface and deeper geological structures.

The drilling campaign is divided into two main components: 10,000 metres will focus on shallow skarn mineralization, while the remaining 5,000 metres will target deeper porphyry mineralization. Five high-priority targets, identified through extensive technical evaluation, have been chosen for this phase of exploration.

Reverse circulation (RC) drilling will be employed for rapid and cost-effective testing of near-surface skarn targets. Diamond core drilling will focus on deeper zones, where the company believes potential porphyry-related mineralization exists beneath and adjacent to the known skarn system.

"We are thrilled to have drilling underway at Madison, where we are now systematically testing the highest-quality skarn and porphyry targets ever identified at the Project," stated CEO Warwick Smith. He added that the targets are the product of rigorous data integration and detailed analysis, and the drilling results are expected to enhance the company's geological interpretation.

American Pacific views this program as a crucial step in advancing Madison as a high-grade copper-gold exploration and development opportunity. Initial assay results are anticipated this summer, and the company plans to provide further updates as the program progresses.
