American Pacific Mining: Second Drill Rig Operational at Madison Copper-Gold Project

American Pacific Mining Corp. has commenced drilling with a second rig at its wholly-owned Madison Copper-Gold Project in Montana. The new addition is focused on testing near-surface skarn targets.

This new drilling operation is part of an ongoing, fully-funded 15,000-meter program that began in early June. The program utilizes both diamond core and reverse circulation (RC) drilling.

The campaign aims to aggressively explore both shallow skarn targets and deeper porphyry-style mineralization, which management believes could represent a large copper-gold system. Historical mining at the nearby Madison and Broadway Mine areas yielded high-grade copper and gold.

Eric Saderholm, VP of Exploration, expressed enthusiasm: "If we are successful in extending the known mineralization and vectoring into a larger copper-gold system, we believe Madison has the potential to become a cornerstone asset that can drive meaningful value for our shareholders." The company targets its first mineral resource estimate for the project in 2027.
