American Pacific Mining Starts Field Program at Red Hill Gold Project

American Pacific Mining Corp. has initiated a field reconnaissance and surface sampling program at its Red Hill Gold Project located in Eureka County, Nevada. The program is designed to enhance the company's geological understanding of key target areas within the project and to collect additional geochemical information.

Field crews collected rock samples from areas of geological interest, including prospective alteration zones, structurally prepared outcrops, and historically identified targets. Initial findings from the fieldwork have identified a significant jasperoid outcrop featuring strong barite mineralization and multiple brecciation phases. This type of geological formation is commonly associated with Carlin-style systems.

The Red Hill project is situated within Nevada's prolific Cortez Trend, a region known for its gold deposits. The project spans approximately 1,500 acres and is believed to host sediment-hosted gold mineralization. Prior drilling by a previous operator yielded significant gold intersections, including 24.4 meters grading 4.99 grams per tonne gold.

American Pacific Mining believes Red Hill remains underexplored, particularly for deeper targets and covered areas. The company has submitted collected samples for analysis to an accredited laboratory, with results anticipated in the second quarter. These findings are considered important indicators for the exploration of Carlin-style gold systems in the region.
