American Pacific Mining Starts Field Reconnaissance at Ziggurat Gold Project in Nevada

American Pacific Mining Corp. has commenced a field reconnaissance and surface sampling program at its Ziggurat Gold Project in Nye County, Nevada. The program, initiated in May 2026, aims to advance the Company's understanding of priority target areas and expand geochemical coverage across the project.

The field crew collected 59 rock samples and 20 stream sediment samples from prospective areas identified through prior geological mapping, geochemical work, and geophysical interpretation. The company anticipates receiving assay results in the second quarter, which will help focus a subsequent Phase II program and optimize future drilling.

Ziggurat is situated at the northern end of the Round Mountain Trend, a region known for hosting multiple multi-million-ounce gold systems. The area has experienced at least three volcanic heat source stages, generating several nearby prospects and mines. The company states that extensive, untested alteration zones are present across approximately 75% of the property.

The current program focuses on evaluating areas with favorable alteration, structural preparation, and geochemical signatures considered prospective for Carlin-type gold mineralization. Previous work has identified strong pathfinder element geochemistry, including arsenic, mercury, and antimony, along with a broad, kilometer-scale alteration footprint and geophysical targets yet to be drill-tested.
