American Pacific Mining Corp. has provided an update on the progress of its Phase I drill program at the Madison Copper-Gold Project, located near Silver Star, Montana.
The company has completed 2,048 meters of drilling to date. This includes 1,620 meters of core drilling targeting porphyry deposits and 428 meters of reverse circulation (RC) drilling focused on near-surface skarn occurrences and high-grade vein zones. Initial assay results are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The Phase I program is designed to encompass a total of 15,000 meters of drilling. According to the company, initial findings are encouraging, and the Phase I drilling is testing regional targets in untested areas distal to known mineral deposits.
A Phase II drill program, comprising up to 7,500 meters of additional drilling, is slated to commence in the fall of 2026, following the evaluation of Phase I results. Eric Saderholm, Managing Director of Exploration, stated that Phase II will focus on areas showing favorable results from the current drilling campaign.
