American Pacific Plans Downhole Surveys to Guide Drilling at Montana Project

American Pacific Mining Corp. is initiating a program of downhole geophysical and structural surveys at its Madison Copper-Gold Project in Montana. The company has engaged Colog, Inc. to conduct these surveys within drill hole M26C-02.

The program aims to enhance the understanding of the orientation and geological controls of the sulfide zone. This information will help refine the interpreted dip and dip direction of the mineralization, based on previous drilling. These data will guide the design and placement of new drill holes intended to test the continuity of mineralization beyond M26C-02.

The surveys will include acoustic and optical televiewer measurements, providing oriented images of the borehole wall. These allow for the measurement of orientations of identified mineralized contacts, bedding, and other geological features. Additionally, induced polarization, resistivity, and inductive conductivity measurements may be included. Integrating these data will help characterize the mineralized interval and refine the three-dimensional geological interpretation.

American Pacific Mining previously reported significant intersections in M26C-02, including 30.8 meters averaging 7.40 g/t gold, 9.62 g/t silver, and 0.29% copper. The continuity, thickness, and grade of the zone will be evaluated through further drilling.

The survey results will assist American Pacific Mining in more effectively targeting future drilling and testing potential extensions of the high-grade mineralized zone at the Madison project.
