Americas Cardroom Updates Software With New Features
Americas Cardroom has released its October 1 software update, introducing new table expression controls, Progressive Mystery Bounty tournaments, and enhanced mobile support.
Online poker platform Americas Cardroom has rolled out its October 1 software update, bringing new "emoji galleries" and Progressive Mystery Bounty tournaments to players. The update also expands staking ticket functionality and enhances support for mobile tables.
Players can now choose between "Mild" (PG) and "Wild" (R) emoji collections. The "Wild" collection adds more aggressive reactions and throwable elements, with visibility determined by each player's individual settings. Emojis can also be disabled through the game's settings. This feature aims to increase player interaction and expression during gameplay.
Progressive Mystery Bounty tournaments combine randomly assigned mystery bounties with progressive knockout mechanics. The bounty play is locked during Day 1. After the opening flights conclude, half of an eliminated player's bounty is paid to the player making the elimination, and half is added to that player's own bounty. This format is designed to add excitement and potential rewards as the tournament progresses.
The update also improves staking ticket support for all SPINZ game buy-in levels and extends the refreshed mobile table design from SPINZ to cash games, Blitz, tournaments, Sit & Go's, and On Demand games. Additionally, lobby changes may highlight specific potential overlays, and fixes have been implemented for displaying side pot information and guaranteed multi-day tournament prize pools.
Americas Cardroom, in operation since 2001, continually aims to enhance the player experience and introduce new ways to engage with poker. The company is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026.
