Amex Exploration Expands Quebec Gold Holdings
Amex Exploration has acquired additional land packages in Quebec and Ontario, consolidating over 500 square kilometers prospective for gold and VMS deposits.

Quebec City, Canada – Junior mining company Amex Exploration Inc. has significantly expanded its land holdings in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. The company announced the acquisition of additional claims, which, combined with its existing properties, now consolidate a district-scale land package of over 500 square kilometers prospective for both high-grade gold and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization.
The expanded land package encompasses 183 contiguous claims at the Perron Gold Project in Quebec. This is in addition to the contiguous Perron West, Abbotsford, and Hepburn Projects acquired in Ontario. These consolidated areas lie within highly prospective geology favorable for both high-grade gold and VMS mineralization.
The Perron Gold Project is located approximately 110 kilometers north of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, including year-round road access, proximity to an airport, and is approximately 6.5 km from the town of Normétal. It is also in close proximity to several processing plants owned by major gold producers.
Amex Exploration is focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing gold projects in the mining-friendly jurisdiction of Quebec. The company has previously reported significant high-grade gold discoveries and copper-rich VMS zones at its Perron project. Eldorado Gold is also a strategic investor in Amex Exploration, holding a 27% stake.
